NaPoWriMo Day #14: Birch Cathedral

(Author’s Note: The photographic image behind the words, titled Walk With Me, is the inspiration for the poem Birch Cathedral as part of Image and the Word, a photography-inspires-art exhibit produced by Mankato poets Derek Liebertz and Yvonne Cariveau in collaboration with The Southern MN Poetry Club and the Bend of the River Photography Club of Mankato, Minnesota. I regret that I do not have the name of the photographer of this picture so that I may give he or she the credit they are due).
